Bonsai

The Bonsai is originated in China. A tiny tree planted in a small pot to represent the nature and also to admire the whole nature. You may have seen the movie, Karate Kid where Mr. Miyagi (Pat Morita) played as a Bonsai master as well as Karate master.

Up until recently I thought the Bonsai is for old people who have a weird taste (the tree is for the real ground, not for the pot!)

The funny thing is as I try to understand more about music, the nature has gradually came to the center of my thought and from that route of the thought, my mind somehow clicked to Bonsai finally.

Then I finally bought a pot of Bonsai!

It is apparently called “Grecian occidentalis”, or a “Crossberry”, a small tree anyway.

I am so happy having it now.

Then this thought came to me all of a sudden, “Enjoyment can move people”.

As Oscar Wilde wrote in “The picture of Dorian Grey”, the art might not be necessary, (“All art is quite useless”),but when there is an enjoyment people will come.

I have a feeling that this might be the center concept of Artist Green.

Artist Green, the organization I created a few years ago to promote the art, whose activity has been at halt since the covid started.

I think I will write more about Artist Green in the future.
